PADI TECREC
Technical or TEC Diving means to cross the border of recreational diving limits and provides exposure to new equipment configurations such as twin cylinders and Sidemount. It also unlocks the mystery of decompression diving and fills in some important blanks in your current diving theory. In the PADI TECREC series of courses you can complete TEC 40, TEC 45 and TEC 50 as individual certifications. TEC diving is not for everyone but if you are an experienced diver looking for an exciting new challenge and are ready to make an investment, accept new risks, then welcome to an extreme new diving adventure.
Each level of your PADI Tec training consists several knowledge development sections, practical application sessions and four open water dives. Building on what you have learned so far as a diver you will focus on the set up of TEC diving equipment, learn more complex dive planning and emergency procdures, dive as a team and learn to think like a technical diver.
